Ballroom Dance Studio Branding Photos

Two ballroom dancers dance together in the middle of the crowded downtown street with holiday lights in the background. Dance and branding photography in Syracuse NY

Have you ever wanted to try ballroom dancing? Have you seen ‘Shall We Dance” or “Take the Lead” and thought maybe you’d like to try something like that?

If you don’t already dance, I’m sure you’re likely thinking that you have 2 left feet, would hurt yourself or someone else, are too out of shape, you don’t have a partner, your partner doesn’t want to, or have never danced a day in your life because you learned early on you DONT have rhythm. You’ve seen Dancing With the Stars and you are NOT trying to fall on your butt, thank you very much, AND your social anxiety repells the idea. I hear you… lol

Something I wish I would’ve known sooner is that, similar to anything else, there are levels, and you can make the situation however works for you!

Trying to meet someone new? Go to the group dance lessons and learn to dance a little bit.

No matter your age or ability, if you’re interested in dancing, be encouraged!

And as long as you can walk (and even if you can’t!!) you CAN ballroom dance! And… MOST people fall in the middle of the bell curve, where they dance socially (definitely not competitively).

All of the ballroom dance studios I’ve been to, especially all of the Fred Astaires, expect their students to have no experience. They LIKE new dancers and have everything you learn easily mapped out and organized step by step, and you’d be surprised to realize how easy it can be!

At Fred Astaire, the six beginner dances you learn are Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Swing (EC), Rumba, and Cha-Cha.

Now that my “you can learn ballroom dance” advertisement is over, I’d like to share some recent photos from when I traveled to Cleveland to my girl friends Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Willoughby!

This amazing woman, dancer and friend is Kellie Love Titus, and I was THRILLED when we decided to work together! Over 10 years ago we worked at a firm together, and came to realize back then about our shared love for ballroom dance/Fred Astaire, stayed in touch, and over the years we’ve grown to also love our shared experiences in motherhood, entrepreneurship and advocacy!

As a photographer, there’s almost no greater joy I can find than photographing the people, things and places I love. So to be hired for a job that surrounds me with mykind of people, dance, and music… LIFE WIN!

I hope you enjoy some of our favorite photos from our holiday branding session

In the photos are Coaches/Pro Dancers Nadia Eftedal, Travis Manero, Aleksei and Elena Minaev, and Frank Anthony

If you have a dance studio and you’re trying to improve your website, social media content, and literature, please send an inquiry on the contact page! I would LOVE to talk about how we can work together!
