Anniversary Dinner at Eden, Downtown Syracuse

I’ll just come right out and say it- if you’re looking for the best restaurant in Syracuse, you NEED to make reservations at Eden in Hanover Square, Downtown Syracuse! They’re an entirely wood-fired, locally sourced farm-to-table restaurant, with an awesome bar, beautiful interior with an herb garden, and the most comforting wood hearth smell.

My partner Derek and I where able to get New Year’s Eve reservations for our 9th anniversary… lucky us!!! For drinks, we decided to get some house cocktails and brought our favorite wine from Barnstormer, one of our favorite Finger Lakes wineries.

I should’ve taken better notes, but these are some of the dishes in the photos:

Ember Roasted Carrots, chimichurri, Fromage Blanc (goat cheese), rosemary almonds

Pan Roasted Chicken, sweet potato biscuits, watermelon radish, kale, black pepper gravy

Ember Roasted Ribeye, smashed potatoes, creme fraiche, chimichurri, kale

Chocolate Pot de Creme, meringue, graham cracker tuile, mint

Absolutely everything was incredibly beautiful and delicious. Cheers to love, great food, and the 2022 new year!
